It's interesting to see how the combination of fabrics, textures and prints shape and style an outfit, personally I love mixing. I feel that the right combination can bring to life even the most casual look. My weekend consisted of a variety of activities that involved a lot of movement, roller coaster riding at Universal Studios, fifth wedding anniversary dinner celebration (Five amazing years married to my best friend, I'm a very lucky girl), styling my friends hip-hop music video, among others. So I needed to be comfortable, yet stylish.
I choose my new Keds x Madewell printed high-tops and my beloved python-print Current Elliott jeans (that I got for a bargain price of $50 by the way) grouped with neutrals and basics for a relaxed sunday look. Prints are usually considered non-versatile... I object! They are highly functional if you mix & mingle accordingly. And yes, they are slowly taking over my closet!
